I finally got Necia and Libby’s quilts done for their dorm room–a week after they moved in! Necia’s has the turquoise squares and border, and Libby’s has the green. They were fun to put together.
Those are neat quilts. I grew up with quilting frames in the house and it is neat to see people still quilting places other than in my house. If my wife ever starts blogging, maybe I can get her to put of photos of some of her quilts.

Love the colors, they turned out beautiful. I did notice even though it looks random you still managed to put a pattern in there.

Yep, it’s the Disappearing Nine-Patch. Can’t seem to get away from it!

I LOVE these quilts!!! Do you quilt them yourself on your sewing machine or do you have a long arm?

Hey Mary! I just quilt them on the good ole Bernina. I used the walking foot on these quilts, but I like to use the free-motion foot, as well.
Someday I would love to have a long arm, but . . . where to put the durn thing?
